Instructions

My class researched and added women writers to a collaborative site: Early Women Writers. Several possible activities could emerge from the site. Students could use it as a springing off point for mini-presentations or reports on women authors from 500-1500 (the European Middle Ages) or on a specific theme within women's writing (the site has lists of primary and secondary sources for further research). They could also (by emailing the address listed on the site) research and contribute new entries. A similar activity could be done on Wikipedia since most of the authors on the site do not have entries on Wikipedia.
